My impressions and review:
Magical Pokahn takes many cliches and mashes everything together to form a comedy loli show. Sometimes it is very funny, but a lot of times the jokes are just about misunderstanding certain things such as what a mailman does, holidays and their meaning, etc. The girls are dimwits and go extra lengths to entertain, but except for a few isolated skits the show can be pretty bland. The four princesses are a Magical girl, a Vampire girl, a Werewolf girl, and an Android girl. Each one fills a strange moe fetish except for the Magical Girl which is common in other anime. The story is laughable (it’s supposed to be) and will never make sense. It’s composed of short skits and they hardly ever string together, so there’s no fulfillment beyond the gags.
A lot of times the comedy can get really dirty and are exclusively about sex. They get pretty elaborate and it can be a little disturbing to see these loli trying to get laid. I’m not complaining though because these skits are usually the funniest part of the entire show. If you like loli it’s a pretty average but solid show. There’s quite a bit of fan service too, for those of you into loli. If you want comedy it has some really good skits, but as a whole it falls short of the greater comedy anime that’s out there.
